How I handle what you share.

Writing to someone about something difficult takes trust. Here is exactly what happens to your message, and where my limits are.

Something has beenon my mind…I'm listening.Take your time.

I read it myself

Every message is read by me, not by a team or an automated system.

I reply in my own time

I usually reply within a few days. If it can't wait, please use the helplines.

You decide what to share

You don't need to give your name, or explain everything at once.

How your message travels

  • When you press Send, your message travels over an encrypted connection to a service that delivers it to my inbox at connect@karishma.info. This website itself does not keep a copy.
  • The name field is optional. If you leave it blank, your message is sent as “Anonymous”. I only need an email address so that I can reply.
  • It then sits in my email inbox. Email is not end-to-end encrypted.
  • Please avoid sending passwords, government IDs, medical records, or identifying information about another person.
  • If you would prefer Signal, say so in your message and I will reply with how to reach me there.
  • This site does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Like any website, its hosting provider may keep ordinary technical logs.

What I do with what you share

I handle it with care and discretion. I do not publish identifying details, and I will never use your story publicly without your permission. I keep messages only for as long as our conversation needs them.

Where my limits are

I am not a clinician, a therapist or a crisis service. I can listen, help you think things through, and help you find the right support. If someone’s life is at immediate risk, I may need to involve others to keep them safe, and I would talk to you first wherever I can. If a child may be at risk of harm, I may need to act as well.

If you are in immediate danger, call 112. If you need someone to talk to right now, see the helplines.
